Therapeutic Styles

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a goal-oriented, client-centered style of therapy designed to elicit behavior change by helping clients to explore and resolve ambivalence.

Mindfulness is a client centered, self acceptance style of therapy that focuses on one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.

Play Therapy

Play Therapy uses fantasies and the symbolic meanings of play as a medium for understanding; paving the way for exploration, communication and problem solving.
